This is my 1971 Olds 442 in San Francisco on Thanksgiving '99
Hello My Name is Jason I live in Palm Springs, CA This is my Car a 1971 Oldsmobile 442. It Recently underwent A complete make over where car was stripped down and taken apart
just shy of a complete frame off restoration.
Engine Is A 455 Olds that i rebuilt myself using mondello parts including ported "C" heads.
A 700R4 Overdrive trans with a 1800-2000 lockup stall converter which has been holding up nicely for about a year and a half now.
The Rear end is a 12 bolt out of a 71 Chevelle. I installed 3:55 Gears and Posi Traction
I also have a NOS Super Powershot Kit for that extra punch with a 1 Gallon
Fuel Cell for enrichment fuel.

My Best Time With this setup is 12.83 @ 107.36MPH
This is running 8.5" 26" Slicks.
On Street Tires I Pulled off 12.9 @ 106MPH
With the Nitrous I blew off a 12.35 @ 112.70 Not bad for a totally streetable
car with a 2000 stall converter. I wanted 11's and they may still be possible
with further dialing in and bottle temperature up.
I have seen every corner of this car and am always doing something to it at one time or another.
Now i just like to enjoy driving and racing it as you can see in the above pictures.
Im not afraid to take it anywhere even though it does use quite a bit of
gas. I plan to take it on the Power Tour soon which runs all the way
to Michigan!
